The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has launched an expanded domestic travel promotion for autumn and winter independent travel from September 1 to December 31. The Tainan City Tourism Bureau has compiled a list of numerous discounts for visiting Tainan during this period, and with the accommodation deals offered during each monthly theme week, exploring Tainan becomes even easier.

Independent Travel Accommodation Subsidy
Each room qualifies for a one-time discount of NT$1,000 (one subsidy per person). As of September 23, there are 356 participating accommodations in Tainan. Some accommodations are offering even more benefits—for example, Beimen Yanxiang Homestay provides free stays when combined with the autumn & winter travel campaign, along with bike rentals and two free breakfasts.
Stay in Tainan and Win Plane Tickets Every Month – Drawings Available Any Day of the Week
During September to December, regardless of weekdays or weekends, guests staying at any licensed accommodation in Tainan can participate in the “Monthly Draw for Round-Trip Flights from Tainan to Osaka or Hong Kong.” Simply present your accommodation invoice or receipt on the Tainan Monthly Theme Week event website to enter.
