Seventeen years ago, two girls pursued their dream by opening the first forest-themed café in Xinzhuang, Taichung. Since then, they have expanded to Hsinchu, Miaoli, and even overseas, where they run homestays. The enchanting and romantic forest style has won the hearts of travelers.

The annual Lavender Festival at Lavender Forest runs from January 1 to March 31. The park has set up numerous animal-themed art installations for visitors to take photos with, and has partnered with Fresh Milk Workshop to create a magical and beautiful forest party.

The park is quite spacious, and from the entrance you’ll be greeted by vast fields of lavender. Nearby, there's the must-photograph IG hotspot—the carousel. As you venture further in, the path winds through lush forest scenery leading to the park’s Annual Ring Post Office, where you can pick a postcard to send to someone you miss—or to yourself—to share the beauty of the moment.
