To accommodate the "Taipei’s Wildest New Year’s Eve - 2020 Countdown Party" being held at the front plaza of Taipei City on December 31, traffic control will be gradually enforced in the vicinity of the Xinyi Planning District. Taipei Metro, Taoyuan Airport MRT, and bus operators will increase service frequency and extend operating hours to match the event. The public is advised to leave home early and make use of public transportation to reach the venue.

In response to the "Taipei’s Wildest New Year’s Eve - 2020 Countdown Party," roadside parking spaces along nearby roads will be canceled and temporary parking will be prohibited from 5 PM on December 31 until 3 AM the next day. Traffic control will be enforced in stages starting at 7 PM, 8 PM, and 10 PM on the event day. The Municipal Transit Station will suspend operations after 7:30 PM—please use alternative stops.

With large crowds expected, bicycles are not allowed within the controlled area—please dismount and walk them. Nearby YouBike stations will also be temporarily suspended during the control period. During this time, please use stations at Songshan High School of Commerce, Futaipark, Longmen Plaza, Taipei Metro Da’an Station, and Taipei Medical University to rent or return bikes.

On December 31, Taipei Metro and Taoyuan Airport MRT will operate for 42 hours straight without stopping (excluding Xinzhuangbei and Xiaobitan Stations), and service frequency will be increased while stops adjusted based on crowd levels.

To help disperse the crowds after the event, three shuttle bus lines will be arranged from 12 AM to 1:30 AM on January 1. Nearly 60 bus routes in the Xinyi District will also extend their service hours, and other bus lines will adjust frequency flexibly depending on passenger flow to help attendees get home quickly. Traffic controls around the event site are expected to be lifted by 3 AM on January 1, and municipal roadways such as Shifu Road and Xin Ren’ai Road will reopen at 7 AM on January 2.
