Taipei 101
In 2020, Taipei 101’s fireworks display took “The Light of Hope – Taiwan” as its theme. Not only did the show last a full 300 seconds—giving travelers plenty to enjoy—but the building’s T-Pad exterior also featured messages of goodwill and appearances by Taiwan’s cherished protected animals such as the Formosan black bear and the small leopard cat, all set against the backdrop of brilliant fireworks. The show also broke tradition by introducing a “Tri-Color Fantasy” effect, where a single firework could display multiple colors simultaneously, making it the highlight of the event.

Miramar
The annual fireworks show at Miramar in Dazhi is also not to be missed. This year, the fireworks display has been extended to 300 seconds, and a New Year’s Eve concert is being held concurrently, promising an unforgettable audiovisual experience. On the night, Miramar Department Store will also extend its operating hours until 1 a.m.

Janfusun Fancyworld
This year, Janfusun Fancyworld in Yunlin is celebrating New Year’s 2020 with a fireworks show themed “Happiness Fancy GO.” Featuring its iconic Ferris wheel, the show will present a 566-second aurora-themed fireworks spectacle. In addition to the pyrotechnics, the event has invited several popular online entertainers to perform, guaranteeing a lively and exciting New Year’s Eve party.

E-DA World
E-DA World’s 2020 Christmas and New Year’s series event, “Purple Glory at E-DA, Fun at Your Fingertips,” will feature a massive 999-second artistic fireworks show on New Year’s Eve. It will include 12-inch fireworks combined with stunning light effects. Additionally, before the fireworks begin, there will be Taiwan’s largest-ever drone light show, featuring 400 drones.
