With several days of fine weather, Monday’s high temperatures could reach up to 30 degrees Celsius, prompting many to dig out their short-sleeved shirts again. It's expected that there won’t be any cold fronts bringing extremely low temperatures before New Year’s Eve. There will still be slight fluctuations in temperature this week, so stay tuned~

On the 17th (Tuesday), the weather across the country will be sunny to partly cloudy, with large day-night temperature differences. In the early morning, localized fog or low clouds in western regions may affect visibility—please stay alert.
On the 18th (Wednesday), the northeast monsoon will strengthen slightly, making the weather a bit cooler in the north and northeast, while mornings and evenings will also be cool in other areas, with large day-night temperature differences in central and southern Taiwan. Localized brief showers will appear in the northern and northeastern regions, and scattered brief showers are also expected in the eastern and southeastern areas. Other regions will see mostly cloudy to sunny conditions.
From the 19th (Thursday) to the 20th (Friday), under the influence of the northeast monsoon, temperatures across the country will mainly drop in terms of daytime highs, with the northern part of Taiwan experiencing the most significant cooling. The coolest period will be from Friday (20th) through Saturday morning, when northern lows may dip to 15–16°C, central areas to 16–17°C, and southern and eastern parts around 17–19°C. Coastal and open areas might see even lower temperatures. Everyone is advised to wear extra layers in the morning to avoid catching a chill. Additionally, the northern part of Taiwan will remain cool throughout the day with limited warming, so please take note. Regarding rainfall, the windward northern and eastern regions will see localized brief showers, while the central and southern areas will have slightly increased cloud cover, with occasional light rain in mountainous areas.
Starting on the 21st (Saturday), the northeast monsoon will weaken slightly, but mornings and evenings will still be cool. From the 21st to the 23rd (Saturday to next Monday), the eastern regions and mountainous areas in the north will experience localized brief showers, while other areas will be mostly cloudy to sunny.
