Taiwan’s various locales have lit up with dreamy Christmas light displays, creating a festive atmosphere that’s simply enchanting. With the 2020 Taiwan Lantern Festival just around the corner, the “Taichung Shihkang Shishui?xi Huayang Art Festival” centers around the theme “A Blossoming Water Town, Shining Shihkang,” featuring nine themed light installations that keep travelers snapping photos non-stop.

The stunning light corridor is truly captivating.
The light festival area surrounds attractions such as the Shishui?xi Leisure Farm, Green Six Plaza, Dongfeng Bicycle Path, Lovers’ Wooden Bridge, and Magpie Bridge, with lights staying on until February 2020. Spanning Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and the Lunar New Year holidays, the dazzling light displays combine with the landscape to create a unique atmosphere of light and shadow — every spot is simply mesmerizing.

The nine themed light zones are designed with different landscapes based on the characteristics of their venues, including the “Eco Magical Christmas Tree,” “Angel Lovers’ Dream,” “Vibrant Light Corridor,” “Energy Tunnel,” “Starry Cosmos Hall,” “Rainbow Wish Waterfall,” “Love Wind Chimes,” “Fantasy Rice Ears Avenue,” “Magical Waterwheel,” and “Galactic Symphony of Life” — all with romance levels through the roof.
