In addition to the famous Jiaoxi Hot Springs and Su'ao Cold Springs, the King Car Whisky Distillery, located at the foot of the Snow Mountain Range, fully utilizes Yilan’s unique hydrology and climate to produce Taiwan’s first domestically made whisky — “KAVALAN,” which was also the first Taiwanese whisky to shine on the international spirits awards stage. The King Car Whisky Distillery has also transformed into a tourist distillery, where visitors can follow guided tours led by professional guides, learning about the entire whisky-making process from raw material processing to fermentation, distillation, and aging.
