Every year around December, the green rice fields along the road in front of Huangxi Academy in Dajia transform into a sea of pink cosmos flowers. The pink cosmos sways in the blue sky, creating a fairy-tale-like scene that’s truly breathtaking.

The name "Zhuifen" at Zhuifen Station actually comes from Japanese kanji, meaning "branching paths." In the early days, the West Coast Line diverged at Zhuifen — one route led to the coastal line toward Changhua, and the other to the mountain line toward Chenggong. As a result, it became one of the most famous stations in Taiwan. Many students even buy tickets from Zhuifen to Chenggong, symbolizing "scoring well in exams."

Located next to the Dajia Bald Cypress area, the Date Palm Field has become a popular Instagram spot recently. The unique growth pattern of the date palms intertwines to form a tunnel-like scene with a magical atmosphere. Through different filters and styles, the photos taken here are filled with a special sense of artistry. Since the land is privately owned, please avoid damaging the environment while taking photos.

The blue highway stretches over 3 kilometers and is the direct route to "Wanggaoliao," a famous night view spot in Taichung, from Dajia. Originally passed down by word of mouth among cyclists, it gradually attracted motorcyclists and college students who rode up the mountain to enjoy Taichung’s unique night scenery. It also draws many photography enthusiasts, making it a hidden gem for locals and a nostalgic spot for many.
