Fuda Steamed Dumpling Restaurant is located in an alley next to Exit 2 of Zhongshan MRT Station in Taipei. Its sign isn’t particularly eye-catching, but the crowd at the entrance makes it impossible to miss. Fuda Dumpling Restaurant’s world-famous steamed dumplings cost NT$90 for a serving of ten. The dumplings aren’t small—bite into one and the savory juice bursts into your mouth, complemented by the chewy yet tender wrapper. With this size, quantity, and taste, the value is off the charts.

The wonton noodles recommended by the staff to the HowToTrip editor arrived with the aroma of peanut powder sprinkled on top. The dish came with three large wontons, thin-skinned and generously filled. Tossed with chili oil, chopped scallions, and a hint of peanut fragrance, it was devoured in just a few bites.
