Bali District is located at the northwest end of the Taipei Basin. The Pei Cobb Freed Partners architectural firm was founded by I.M. Pei, who led the design of the Grand Louvre project. The Bali Incinerator Plant features a simple and bright style with geometric structural forms. The entire facility adopts an aluminum curtain wall glass design, with a mountain-shaped skylight in the exhibition hall and an asymmetrical mountain-shaped arched skylight in the dumping area, which are the main highlights and features of the incinerator’s curtain wall exterior. In addition to admiring the unique architecture of the incinerator, you can also enjoy scenic views of Taipei Port and the open grasslands.

The Sanxingdui Museum has uncovered prehistoric human settlements dating back 1,800 to 500 years ago, as well as significant iron-smelting ruins. It is an important archaeological museum and an educational center promoting knowledge of archaeology, ethnology, and Taiwan’s prehistoric history. With its unique natural landscape of mountains, sea, and river, coupled with its distinctive architectural appearance, it has long been a popular dating spot for couples and a favorite location for newlyweds to take wedding photos. It’s also a great place for idol drama filming locations.

Located in a valley near the Guanyin Mountain Scenic Area in Bali, Dorothy’s Forest is covered with many fruits such as pomelos and peaches on the mountainside, all grown without pesticides, making it very organic and natural. In addition to enjoying meals in the park, eco-guided tours and DIY hands-on experiences are also available, aiming to bring travelers closer to nature.

Located in Bali, New Taipei, Guanyin Mountain’s Hard Man Ridge stands at an elevation of 616 meters, making it the highest peak of Guanyin Mountain and a fantastic spot to admire and photograph a million-dollar-level night view. Hard Man Ridge backs onto Linkou and Wugu and faces the Tamsui River estuary, offering panoramic views of the greater Taipei area. However, reaching Hard Man Ridge requires some effort and time—the trail is 1,563 meters long, and the round trip takes about 1.5 hours, putting your stamina to the test.
