The Shilin Official Residence Chrysanthemum Exhibition has entered its 18th year. This year’s exhibition kicks off on November 22, featuring 180,000 chrysanthemums of various kinds, as well as multiple landscaped areas designed for photo opportunities — all presenting a vibrant and beautiful scene.

180,000 chrysanthemums in full bloom.
This year’s chrysanthemum exhibition is themed “Joy in Chrysanthemums,” combining various types of chrysanthemums with well-known music pieces from around the world. The melodies are expressed through floral arrangements. While admiring the beauty of the flowers, visitors can also enjoy nature’s symphony, savor the fragrant floral scents and phytoncides, and take in the crisp autumn air.
The integration of music and landscape creates a unique charm.
Music performances are held on weekends.
The garden is filled with 180,000 chrysanthemums of all kinds, including shaped chrysanthemums, cascade chrysanthemums, green chrysanthemum sculptures, large chrysanthemums, medium-sized chrysanthemums, chrysanthemum herbs, and flower balls. These are paired with beautifully designed scenic settings featuring guitars, pianos, and musical notes inspired by music from different countries — an absolutely breathtaking sight.
