Mingjian Township is located in the western part of Nantou, bordering Jiji Mountain to the east and Bagua Mountain to the west. TaohuayuanLocated on the north bank of the Zhuoshui Riverbed in Xinmin Village, Mingjian Township, Nantou County, this is a peach cultivation area spanning over 20 hectares. During the chilly spring season, beautiful peach blossoms bloom here, turning the entire Taohuayuan into a romantic paradise. Peach blossom enthusiasts can enjoy the lovely pink blossoms nearby at ground level.

The Xinjie Cold Spring Wetland is a natural river wetland featuring abundant cold springs, artesian springs, and ponds formed by their convergence. The water is clean and cool, and the area is known for growing water spinach. As early as 300 years ago, when the Pingpu people settled here, they used the spring water to grow premium water spinach. During the Japanese colonial period, a public bathhouse was built, creating a bustling hot spring destination. The area often features artesian spring landscapes and ponds formed by spring water convergence, home to many fish and shrimp.

Located at the old county road at the border between Chishui Village in Mingjian Township, Nantou County, and Tianzhong Town in Changhua County, Chishuiqi Park is surrounded by tree-shaded paths with gentle slopes and manageable lengths. The park also boasts rich ecological diversity. As the Bagua Mountain range stretches like a dragon over both Changhua and Nantou, it serves as a natural boundary marker between the two cities. Interestingly, many attractions are also partially shared between them.
