Zhenzhudan marks its 10th anniversary and has given its brand visuals a complete refresh, debuting its first-ever global flagship store in Xinyi City Hall. To celebrate the arrival of its fresh new look, a global “Buy One, Get One Free” event was held on November 22.

Zhenzhudan’s first flagship store features a design built around three key elements: soft wooden textures, Japanese-style white walls with a refined finish, and stone structures. The style harmoniously blends Taiwanese and Japanese aesthetics, perfectly expressing a serene artisan spirit. In terms of beverages, the base tea quality has been comprehensively upgraded — three carefully selected tea varieties ranging from light to dark roast offer distinct flavor profiles. Additionally, two autumn/winter limited-edition drinks, “Ten-Part Taro Fresh Milk” and “Honey Taro Ball Fresh Milk,” draw inspiration from the traditional snack “taro balls.” These new creations deliver an unforgettable taste experience in the world of bubble tea, authentically reflecting Zhenzhudan’s distinctive commitment to artisan craftsmanship.

As the first global flagship store, Xinyi City Hall is built around three foundational design elements: wooden textures, Japanese-style white walls with a refined feel, and stone structures. Wood remains a core feature of the original store design, highlighting a strong sense of humanistic warmth. The white walls represent a return to simplicity, echoing the brand's philosophy of selecting ingredients that are local and true to their origin. The stone structure offers customers a unique tactile experience. This new store design showcases a minimalist style, providing a more relaxed and comfortable shopping environment.

Featuring two autumn/winter limited-edition drinks inspired by the traditional snack taro balls, Zhenzhudan carefully selects double-colored mini taro balls that offer a satisfying chew with every bite, combining both taro and sweet potato textures with locally sourced Taiwanese ingredients, transforming classic Taiwanese desserts into high-quality bubble tea. The first flagship product, “Ten-Part Taro Fresh Milk,” uses taro from Dajia to create a smooth, handmade taro paste along with milk from small-scale farms, paired with taro balls with a subtle purple sweet potato aroma. Upon the first sip, the rich taro paste, chewy taro balls, and creamy fresh milk combine in a harmonious, multi-layered flavor experience that immerses you in the purple charm of taro. “Honey Taro Ball Fresh Milk” is based on Taiwanese wildflower honey and carefully selected fresh milk. The gentle milky aroma and sweet floral notes are complemented by the double-colored mini taro balls, offering the taste of both taro and sweet potato in every bite — a sweet and delightful choice, perfect as a fall happiness drink.

In its pursuit of exceptional tea flavors, the R&D team at Zhenzhudan extensively tested various commercial base teas and carefully selected three premium varieties: “Qilai Oolong,” “Oriental Beauty,” and “Classic Black Tea,” significantly elevating the overall quality and enhancing the depth of tea flavor. The featured “Classic Black Tea” is based on Sri Lankan black tea, using a hot-brew cold-seal method to perfectly preserve its rich aroma. Golden buckwheat undergoes high-temperature roasting, delivering the purest notes of barley and grain toastiness, resulting in a smooth, mellow flavor with a grainy aroma lingering in the aftertaste. “Qilai Oolong” specially uses the Jin Xuan tea varietal, giving it a uniquely floral aroma. Its color is as clear and translucent as amber, and the light-roasting process makes the tea taste even more gentle and fragrant. “Oriental Beauty” has a fermentation level between oolong and black tea, offering a rounded tea flavor and a distinctive sweetness, with an elegant and smooth taste.
