“Zhongshan Overpass”
Upon arriving in downtown Keelung, our first stop was the Zhongshan Overpass near Keelung Station. What’s so special about this bridge? It was a filming location for the 2001 movie “Millennium Mambo” starring Shu Qi. With its super retro and distinctive design, it’s perfect for capturing classic, beautiful photos. Sadly, the Zhongshan Overpass is set to be demolished in 2020, so visitors should hurry and seize this last chance to see it.

“Tian Tian Xian Pork Rib Rice”
It happened to be raining on the day we visited, and we thought there wouldn’t be many people. We were wrong. This pork rib rice spot is super popular online. When we arrived, the dine-in queue was already long, so we opted for takeout. But even the takeout was delicious. We ordered their famous shrimp and pork rib bento—the shrimp were fresh and crispy-fried, and although the ribs were fried, they were incredibly flavorful. The rice was infused with the aroma of the ribs. We both agreed it was really tasty.

“Liao Mama’s Pearl Milk Tea Exclusive Shop”
At first glance, Liao Mama’s shop looks very unassuming—it’s even located on the second floor, and we almost didn’t find it. But their bubble tea is truly something special, especially the pearls—they’re large, chewy, and have a bounce you’ve never experienced before. We couldn’t stop sipping.

“Zhengbin Fishing Port”
Next, we took a bus to Zhengbin Fishing Port, one of the latest IG hot spots for Insta-worthy photos. Originally just a regular small fishing harbor, it’s now much more lively and unique thanks to a row of colorful little houses. The rainbow color scheme makes it look super cute—as if you’ve been transported to a port overseas. Photo-loving friends, don’t miss this spot when you’re in Keelung.
