Yilan’s Jiaoxi Township is known for its onsen in flatland areas, but there are few street vendors after dark. To solve this, the Jiaoxi Township Office invited vendors from the “Qinggou Night Market” to set up stalls along Qilidan Road behind Jiaoxi Railway Station. Additionally, a business rented about 600 pyeong of vacant land near the Jiaoxi Bus Terminal to create the “Jiaoxi Sightseeing Night Market,” which is scheduled to open on December 13. It will be Jiaoxi’s first regular sightseeing night market.

The “Jiaoxi Sightseeing Night Market” is expected to host over a hundred vendors, including both local businesses and those from other counties and cities, operating Friday through Sunday evenings.
The “Jiaoxi Sightseeing Night Market” held a trial run on November 25 and officially opened on December 13. On opening day, the hip-hop group 911 was specially invited to perform, helping to liven up the atmosphere.
With the addition of both the “Jiaoxi Sightseeing Night Market” and the “Jiaoxi Hot Springs Night Market,” Jiaoxi Township is bound to attract more visitors, boosting the local tourism-related industries.
