As the year draws to a close, the weather has turned cool for some time now, officially heralding the arrival of the metasequoia season. Located in Taichung, Wuling Farm not only offers ginkgo and maple leaves starting in November, but the "Metasequoia Avenue" in the camping area is also an elegant beauty not to be missed in autumn and winter. The two rows of towering metasequoias gradually turn yellow, then from yellow to orange, with their stunning gradient hues set against the mountain ranges and mist, leaving visitors in awe.

Wuling Farm offers different sceneries all year round—cherry blossoms in spring, maple leaves in autumn, and ginkgo and metasequoias in winter. The metasequoias at Wuling Farm are mainly concentrated in the camping area, where the two rows of trees gradually change color as the weather turns colder, allowing visitors to enjoy different stages of beauty. The Wuling Farm camping area states that over half of the metasequoias on-site have already turned yellow. If you wish to see them all fully changed, you’ll need to wait about another 10 days. Also, due to the later color change this year, the metasequoia viewing period is expected to extend until early January.

The metasequoia is one of the must-see sights in Taiwan during winter. With pleasant weather, heading up the mountain for camping not only allows you to enjoy the foreign-like beauty of the metasequoias, but also the stunning red maples and golden ginkgos in the farm before the end of December. Visitors can capture these rare scenic views before the season ends.
