Nodaue
Founded over 160 years ago, "Nodaue" is currently managed by its fifth-generation owner, Kanjiro Kanemoto. The unagi at Nodaue is prepared using traditional cooking methods—first grilled, then steamed, and finally brushed with sauce and grilled again. Every step is meticulously executed, resulting in tender, sweet, and fragrant eel that is mouthwatering just to smell. Notably, it was one of the first places to pioneer the pairing of unagi rice with red wine, so the restaurant offers nearly 20 types of red wine.
