In the spirit of this outdoor artistic legacy, the Official Centennial Art of Glacier National Park exhibition features 14 stunning works to welcome the next hundred years. The "100 Years, 100 Stories" campaign invites individuals to share their personal memories of Glacier National Park, showcasing the genuine dialogue between people and nature. Among the series of events, the mascot Billy Bowman has drawn considerable attention. Billy Bowman is an adorable stuffed toy of a Rocky Mountain goat—the snow-white animal unique to the park, often spotted along snowlines and in forested mountain areas. The charming presence of Billy Bowman can be seen throughout Glacier National Park, and his humorous character has won over many fans. He even has his own website, blog, Twitter, and Facebook page.
Montana’s Glacier National Park still has 50 active glaciers. The glacial landforms created by their movement—such as cirques, hanging valleys, and horn peaks—are visible throughout the park, showcasing the awe-inspiring wonders of nature.
