This Starbucks Reserve flagship store, located in Tianjin Plaza, was originally the century-old “Zhejiang Industrial Bank.” After three years of preparation and restoration, Starbucks has been seamlessly integrated into this historic building, preserving a wealth of exquisite classical designs inside to create a flagship store bursting with quality.
The low-key yet luxurious vibe can be felt right from the entrance.

From the outside, the building looks majestic and dignified, reminiscent of an old bank. The eight grand pillars at the entrance and the marble steps are very imposing. Stepping inside feels like entering a time tunnel, immersing you in the opulent grandeur of Tianjin’s concession-era. The overhead soaring domed ceiling, the gold-copper central bar, and the overall color scheme all add to the sense of luxury, with delicate carvings left by the old bank visible everywhere.
