But after being spruced up, it has been turned into a secret base called the "Button Warehouse," creating a hidden oasis of an open-air bar and market that’s a must-visit hot Instagram spot in Pingtung.

The Button Warehouse was originally an abandoned sugar refinery and rope factory. Through art creation, it embodies the concept of "recycling and reuse." After a year of renovation, it has been reborn as the most laid-back startup hub in southern Taiwan. Here, a variety of unique shops gather—bars, barbecue spots, restaurants, cafes, vintage clothing stores, surfing, skate parks, and more to satisfy all kinds of interests.
When the lights of the open-air bar come on, they create a surprisingly amazing atmosphere around the area.

As soon as you step into the old warehouse, it feels like entering a highly distinctive cultural and creative market.
