Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. On August 15 from 16:00 to 20:00, Taipei City will hold the “Lian Lian Xi Kou, Happiness Lasts Forever ~ 2010 Qixi Meet at Rainbow Bridge” event at the Rainbow Bridge. We are actively seeking 99 couples to come witness love together. At 7:07 PM, there will also be a spectacular timekeeping show on the Rainbow Bridge, creating a romantic and sweet atmosphere.
The Rainbow Bridge is a major transportation route connecting the Songshan and Neihu districts. Its curved structure and bright red arched beams are its defining features. With this year’s newly completed riverside murals, themed light sculptures, and the timekeeping show, the Rainbow Bridge has been dressed up with great charm. Couples wishing to express their love can sign up on the event’s official website before August 10 for a chance to receive a commemorative Valentine’s T-shirt and a love-message mosaic brick.
There will also be many exciting activities on-site that day, including flamenco dance performances by the Songshan Community College, jazz ballad music, flower-language blessings, photo opportunities on lover’s chairs, and blessings from the Moon God of the Songshan Xia Hai City God Temple for couples. Participating couples will also receive love-bringing five-color bracelets. Come join in the fun together!
