Chiayi: A resident surnamed Tsai with extensive hiking experience went alone to Shuiyang Forest in Alishan Township in February. He got lost in a remote wilderness area midway. At the time, over 40 people were mobilized to search along the route for two days and one night. The fortunate Tsai, having gone through the terror of being lost, spent his own money to make 30 trail markers and 40 kilograms of safety rope.
