Osaka’s Nankai Electric Railway Launches Anniversary Ticket – Just $35 No Matter How Far You Go

To celebrate its 130th anniversary this year, Osaka’s renowned private railway – Nankai Electric Railway – will launch the130th Anniversary Commemorative Ticketin June. With this ticket, passengers can ride any distance on Nankai Electric Railway lines for just 130 yen (approximately NT$34), but it can only be used once.

Nankai Electric Railway mainly connects Osaka’s Namba to areas such as Wakayama, Kansai International Airport, and Mount Koya, and is one of the key transportation options for many Taiwanese travelers traveling between central Osaka and Kansai Airport.

To commemorate its 130th anniversary since its founding, Nankai Electric Railway has specially launched the “130th Anniversary Commemorative Ticket,” priced at 130 yen per ticket.This ticket allows passengers to ride any route operated by Nankai Electric Railway, with a flat fare of 130 yen per one-way trip regardless of distance. However, if using the ticket for reserved seats or limited express trains, additional fees for reserved seating or limited express services apply. Each ticket is valid for one use only and can only be used on June 13 or 14.

The Nankai Electric Railway “130th Anniversary Commemorative Ticket” will be on sale from June 1 to June 7, with a limit of two tickets per person. Passengers can purchase the ticket at the Nankai Electric Railway Namba Station 2nd Floor Service Center, Shin-Imamiya, X:, Izumisano, Kishiwada, Izumisano, Kansai Airport, Wakayamashi, Kada, Suminoe East, X: East, Kitada, Kawachinagano, Hashimoto, and Mount Koya stations.
