Emperor’s Terrace is situated in Shiding District and is an extension of the Xueshan Mountain Range extending northward. The mountain forms a slender rocky ridge stretching from the eastern peak to the western peak. The narrow ridge is as sharp as if carved by an axe, wide enough for only one person to pass through. On one side is a nearly vertical cliff, while the other side slopes gently along the geological strata. Most hikers slow down their pace on this trail, and some even crawl forward. Certain hazardous sections of Emperor’s Terrace are equipped with iron railings and are a very popular hiking route.

However, the amount exchanged cannot be too much—once changed, the money is believed to bring a year of good fortune, making it a popular spot for those seeking wealth.
