To welcome the summer vacation, major resorts and attractions in Macau have launched activities designed for both kids and adults to enjoy together. The four airlines flying to Macau—Air Macau, EVA Air, Uni Air, and China Airlines—have also introduced special travel packages.
Among them, The Venetian Macao is hosting the Transformers 30th Anniversary Exhibition from now until October 5 in Hall F of the Cotai Expo. The exhibition features over 1,000 Transformers collectibles from different eras, rare fan editions, and giant sculptures including a 7-meter-tall Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. The Macao Communications Museum offers an interactive experience where visitors can rediscover the power of communication through exploration and experiments. The postal section showcases the history and technology of mail delivery, and a mini-theater lets you follow the journey of a letter from sending to delivery. You can also try simulating airmail delivery via flight simulators.
In the telecommunications zone, children can learn about electrical principles, try Morse code communication, take on the role of a weather forecaster in a virtual studio, and take fun photos with animals like pandas or dinosaurs in front of a green screen. The Sands Cotai Central is offering the DreamWorks Experience, where you can enjoy breakfast in a banquet hall decorated according to movie scenes with DreamWorks animation stars, and interact up close with characters from How to Train Your Dragon while enjoying a Viking feast. DreamWorks stars such as Shrek, Princess Fiona, Puss in Boots, Po from Kung Fu Panda, Alex from Madagascar, King Julien, and the Penguins will also take part in the daily DreamWorks Parade, dancing and posing for photos with visitors.
The Public Relations and Advisory Office of the Macao Government Tourism Office provides free and detailed travel information. The public is welcome to request it. Website: www.macautourism.gov.mo.
