Setting aside all political terms, Taiwan’s thoughtful hospitality and preservation of Chinese culture deeply move mainlanders. Taking children to Taiwan has become a new trend among Chinese white-collar workers. In 2014, Du Zixuan, a photographer from Shandong, traveled to Taiwan with his 7-year-old child. Upon returning to the mainland, he published an article titled “Take Your Kids to Taiwan,” in which he detailed the beauty of Taiwanese culture, including the friendliness of taxi drivers and the orderly queuing culture. The article was shared and discussed millions of times. When interviewed on the 27th, he emphasized that he would definitely come back.
