To welcome the Qingming Festival and the consecutive school holidays for children, Shangri-La Amusement Park in Zaoqiao Township, Miaoli County, is offering special deals for kids. From April 2 to 5, all children under 12 can enter the park for free—perfect for planning a family outing during this blooming spring season.
Shangri-La Amusement Park spans approximately 40 hectares. Currently in full bloom, the park features hundreds of varieties of flowers and trees that create a vibrant display. Highlights include a 250-meter-long azalea corridor, shaded pathways lined with tall kapok and goldenrain trees, as well as blooming fuji cherries, osmanthus, camellias, and lantanas—all contributing to a kaleidoscope of colors.
In addition to its natural scenery, Shangri-La Amusement Park has introduced a brand-new family play zone this year. Within a 300-ping “Baby Power Station,” the park has set up a “Colorful Bumper Pool,” a “Sunny Go-Kart Track,” and a “Joyful Slide,” along with lounge chairs reserved for parents—creating a space where “kids can play and parents can recharge.”
According to park operators, the “Colorful Bumper Pool” is made up of over 300 high-density elastic balls. It not only satisfies children’s love for jumping and playing but also helps them improve balance and coordination through bouncing. The “Sunny Go-Kart Track” features a simulated road system with straight paths, turns, and parking spaces, along with mini go-karts designed to delight young driving enthusiasts.
Additionally, the park offers other attractions such as a carousel, bumper cars, bumper boats, and a roller coaster. From April 2 to 5, children under 12 can enjoy free admission. Consider planning a relaxing family trip during this holiday period. 1050401
