The Tainan City Tourism Bureau pointed out that the flower-viewing tours include not only the Linchu Pi Cotton Tree Avenue, listed by foreign media as one of the world’s 15 most beautiful flower streets, but also the Gueijhou District’s cotton tree avenue, which boasts the highest density and length in the city, earning it the title “Hometown of Cotton Trees.” These trees are mainly found around Lingziliao (South Route 22), Jiachang Li (South Route 21), near Gueijhou Junior High School, and adjacent streets (South Routes 20 and 24), setting the once-simple rural paths ablaze with vibrant color.

Additionally, hibiscus flowers in Xuejia District are currently in full bloom. These hibiscus flowers come in a riot of colors—red, purple, white, and yellow—that dazzle the eye. The flower fields also feature pathways allowing visitors to stroll among the blossoms, creating a stunning maze-like experience. The area is further complemented by golden rapeseed fields, sunflowers, and cosmos flowers.

The Tourism Bureau stated that bike rental stations (Tourism T-Bikes) have been set up at locations such as the Wushulin Leisure Area, Houpi Jingliao Rice-Free Joy Tourism Service Center, Putuo Zen Temple in Xiaonanhai Scenic Area, and the 7-11 Xinlianxiang branch in Baihe. These bikes are available for public use free of charge until the 5th. Parents and children can ride together through the rural areas of Baihe and Houpi, enjoying the natural pastoral scenery.

The Tourism Bureau noted that for cultural creative experiences, the National Museum of Taiwan History is hosting the Grandparents’ Toys Festival from the 2nd to the 5th; the Tainan Nanying Science Education Museum has arranged an overnight stay at the planetarium, giving children a chance to explore the wonders of astronomy in an educational yet fun way; and the Shugut Life Science Museum is also launching a “Children’s Happy Day & Night” event, all offering great parent-child educational experiences. 1050402
