Located in Zhanghua, Beidou Riverside Park has both riverbanks densely planted with beauty trees. Every autumn, the pink blossoms burst into bloom, transforming the vast, colorful sea of flowers into something reminiscent of cherry blossoms, almost making you think spring has come early.

The sight of beauty trees in bloom is magnificent, with numerous vivid blossoms. As their color ranges from purplish-red to light pink, they are also referred to as “beauty cherry blossoms.”

The blooming season typically occurs from autumn to early winter. In Taiwan, the further north you go, the earlier the trees bloom. Each tree can produce 5,000 to 6,000 flowers. These ornamental trees are classified as high-end street trees and garden landscaping plants, offering great visual appeal.

Beidou Riverside Park was formerly the old Zhuoshui River. After restoration, it has become a beautiful riverside park, stretching narrowly from Qixing Bridge to Beidou Bridge along the old river channel. It’s a prime spot for locals to relax and take walks.
