When most people think of Macau’s nightlife, they usually picture the city’s night views and bustling casinos. But now, the increasingly popular large-scale nightclubs can also be found here. The “Club CUBIC,” which cost NT$400 million to build and covers 30,000 square feet, opened last month. It references the nightclub designs of Hong Kong and Taiwan, enhances its hardware facilities, and creates a luxurious venue with spectacular lighting effects, making Macau even more exciting after dark.

The Hong Kong-based Shelter Census Group entered the Macau market as early as 2008, initially setting up the first Club CUBIC outlet in AIA Tower. In 2010, it announced its relocation to the second floor of Studio City, tripling its space, and capturing the market alongside the brand-new Studio City. The two-floor design adopts a three-dimensional spatial concept — upon entering Club CUBIC, you’re greeted by a lofty main stage, surrounded by small open private boxes in the center and along the sides, with the bar area located at the back. The upper floor houses multiple private boxes of varying sizes, offering views of the lively main stage below.

Opened on April 1st, CLUB CUBIC uses LED installations specified for the Olympics, delivering stunning light transitions. For music, it invites international DJs to perform resident sets, offering a variety of genres including Hip hop, Electro, Techno, House, and Funky, ensuring a multi-sensory experience. It is currently the most popular club in Macau, with its weekly Ladies' Night on Wednesdays and other themed nights attracting crowds of young men and women.
