Have you decided where to spend Christmas this weekend? For the fourth consecutive year, Eslite Songshan Store’s “Christmas Reindeer Creative Competition” has gathered 135 brands at the first-floor entrance this year, making it a popular photo spot. Among them, eyecandle wrapped an entire reindeer in white wax that can even be lit with a candle; some reindeer are dressed in Qing Dynasty attire, instantly transforming into princesses; while others take on a forest-themed look. Eslite Bookstore is also offering a range of children’s Christmas gifts at up to 40% off, with the spotlight on a picture book stretching 3.75 meters that has caught the most attention from readers.
In addition, Eslite Lifestyle will surprise visitors with a performance by the “Red Nose Circus,” a group of four Taiwanese young men who have charmed audiences both in Taiwan and abroad with their humorous and entertaining artistry, even placing third in a 2016 mainland Chinese comedy reality show. On Christmas Eve, December 24th, they will perform interactive shows at four themed restaurants in Songshan Store — “VVG Action Hao?Qingshi,” “KIKI THAI CAF?,” “Springwater Tea House,” and “Gao Ji” — bringing festive joy and heartfelt emotion to the holiday season.
Eslite Bookstore and Eslite Online Bookstore launch a Christmas Gift Exhibition with a Childlike Heart, featuring hundreds of items starting at up to 40% off. Eslite Bookstore notes that the most popular Christmas gifts for children are picture books, interactive pop-up books, and toys. The 3.75-meter-long wordless picture book Megalopolis: and the Visitor from Outer Space offers a child’s-eye view of the world through the perspective of an “alien who fell to Earth,” allowing kids to explore the diverse sights and experiences of our planet.
The Land. Sea. Air Construction Engineering Gift Set includes two fun books — Land. Sea. Air Construction Engineering Collection and My Construction Engineering Magnetic Sticker Activity Book — featuring over 60 interactive parts and 45 shaped magnets. It encourages children to unleash their imagination and creativity, learning and growing through play as they dig subways, build airplanes, and construct ships. Other popular child-friendly gifts include LEGO Brick Stationery, New Classic Toys Toddler Accordion Toy, and SLINKY Classic Original Slinky Dog.
