The Children's Day holiday began on the first day, and New Taipei City launched a family-friendly "Children's Art Festival—Windy Playground," featuring Taiwan’s first large-scale European-style play equipment, attracting over 10,000 children and adults. Parents happily said, “Even adults want to go back to kindergarten!”
Mayor Lin Chih-chien made a dashing appearance as a pilot during an aerial flyby by an Air Force Mirage 2000 fighter jet. He personally visited various play areas and interacted closely with families. Seeing the children having so much fun, Lin was also filled with enthusiasm and invited people from all over Taiwan to visit New Taipei City and become “children of the wind” together.
