Now you can also engage in charity this Valentine’s Day—by making a donation, your love can grow into greater love, delivering adorable romantic flower baskets into the hands of your sweetheart, killing two birds with one stone and full of meaning.
The “Honey Bunny Message, Love Flower Basket” jointly launched by Citibank’s United Way and Taipei Florist is deeply meaningful.
This year’s centennial Valentine’s Day is approaching. Citibank’s United Way and Taipei Florist have teamed up to exclusively release 50 “Honey Bunny Message, Love Flower Baskets,” diversifying fundraising channels and methods. The basket selection features three imported pink roses symbolizing “I love you,” paired with adorable scarf bunnies and carrot bunnies, along with three chocolates representing sweet blessings for you (the recipient), me (the sender), and him (the social welfare organization), conveying the multiplied power of “1+1>2 (bunny; two).”
United Way public ambassador Wang Yonghe and her husband Zhou Shouxun also purchased 3 sets on-site.
January is a month with slower donations. United Way public ambassador Wang Yonghe and her husband, Legislator Zhou Shouxun, stated that while daily life is practical and far from romantic, being able to help a social welfare unit through a donation while also making their wife happy is truly worthwhile and deeply meaningful. Starting January 21, the public can visit the “Honey Bunny Message, Love Flower Basket” page on the campaign’s official website (http://www.unitedway.org.tw/2010citi/) and complete an online donation of NT$5,000 (or more) to receive a love flower basket. Taipei Florist will then deliver the basket to the donor’s specified location between February 10 (Thursday) and February 12 (Saturday). All raised funds will be fully donated to the United Way Association. Additionally, before February 28, a single donation of NT$3,000 or more will earn you a scarf bunny, while a single donation of NT$5,000 or more will get you both a scarf bunny and a carrot bunny—making gift-giving also 1+1>2.
