Yao Wen-chih, the DPP’s Taipei mayoral candidate, held a press conference on the “Child-Friendly Fun: Parent-Child Playtime” policy at Minsheng Community on the 21st. He proposed turning the vacant lot east of the Songnan Base, adjacent to Minsheng Community, into a “For Kin & Kid” children’s play center and art exhibition venue. The facility would combine functions such as family play areas and public temporary childcare services to create a high-quality parenting environment and ease the burden on parents.

Additionally, regarding the latest poll results, Yao said he found that half of those who voted for Ko Wen-je last time would not do so again this time. Of course, governance by the DPP has also led to some spiral of silence effects, but he remains confident about the election. “I believe our poll numbers are severely underestimated.”
