2. Green Tunnel
In Douliu, Yunlin, there is a Green Tunnel stretching about two kilometers, lined with century-old mango trees that are over 50 years old. Along the way, you’ll also see small trains operated by the Taiwan Sugar Corporation. The tracks, train cars, and stations all have a unique charm. The local township office even plans to integrate the Green Tunnel with the small train to boost local tourism.
Aside from enjoying the beautiful scenery shaded by lush greenery, you can also have a picnic in the nearby park or explore the “Green Market,” which sells a variety of Yunlin agricultural products, coffee, and local snacks. Stroll while filling your stomach, and pick up some souvenirs—definitely a trip worth taking.

3. Honey Story House
After visiting the pleasant Green Tunnel, head next to the Honey Story House, a beekeeping business with a 70-year legacy. Known as “Asia’s most professional bee farm,” this expansive site combines bee farm tours, a honey-themed café, and a wide grassy area where you can run freely. Inside the house, there are DIY activities and a selection of bee-related products, each accompanied by descriptive text. It’s a “honey-seeking paradise” that combines leisure, education, wellness, and family fun.
The thoughtful Honey Story House also reminds visitors not to wear perfume, hair spray, hair wax, or insect repellent when visiting the outdoor bee farm—otherwise, you might get a “bee kiss”!

4. Fulu Shou Sightseeing Winery
After the family-friendly Honey Story House, it’s time to add a touch of “grown-up charm” to your journey with a visit to the Fulu Shou Sightseeing Winery. Blessed with a natural brewing environment sourced from snowmelt water of Mount Yu, the winery produces traditional craft wines that have won numerous international awards. The Wine Museum offers insights into the winemaking process and wine culture.
The winery is divided into 7 themed areas, offering guided tours and DIY experiences. But what the editors are most excited about is the free tasting of various alcoholic beverages at the winery shop. Remember we took the bus here? No worries about drinking and driving, and you can even buy great wine as a souvenir.
※ Excessive drinking is harmful to health. Don’t drink and drive. Drink in moderation. Minors should not consume alcohol.

5. Yongguang Story House
Since you’re in Gukeng, you definitely should find a cozy café to enjoy rich coffee aromas. At the end of your journey, stop by the Yongguang Story House. Originally a police dormitory from the Japanese colonial period, it holds historical significance as Gukeng had few inspector dormitories at the time, and it was registered as Gukeng’s first historic building in 2008.
It is now operated by “Casual Brew Coffee,” combining coffee, meals, and storytelling to become Gukeng’s first story house. The coffee beans here have an impressive origin—they come from coffee trees naturally seeded during the Japanese era and still growing today, ensuring every sip is filled with Gukeng’s longest-standing authentic flavor.
