Vietjet increases Taipei–Bangkok flights to 10 weekly, one-way special fare at NT$777

Vietjet announced today (May 28) that the Bangkok Don Mueang route will increase from 7 to 10 flights per week starting July 2. To celebrate the increase, it will also launch a promotion across all routes on May 29, with one-way fares starting as low as NT$777.

Vietjet stated that since launching the Bangkok route at the end of 2014, the average passenger load factor has consistently exceeded 80%. In response to market demand, three new flights will be added every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, departing Taipei at 21:10, with return flights at 01:15 on Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays. The additional flights will offer travelers more options with both morning and evening departure times.

To celebrate the Bangkok route expansion, Vietjet is offering a promotion from 09:00 on May 29 to 23:59 on June 2. New Bangkok flights are available at a special one-way fare starting at NT$777, existing Bangkok flights at NT$1,368, Taipei–Chiang Mai at NT$1,168, and Taipei–Macau at NT$777.
