The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ “Spring Trip” subsidy program will launch on April 1, offering a NT$500 accommodation subsidy per room for independent travelers. The Nantou County Government has introduced an additional scheme: from April 1 to 10, the first 1,000 weekday stays will receive a free Nantou Fun Card worth NT$1,250; starting April 11, the first 10,000 weekday and any-day guests will get an extra NT$500 electronic voucher. The Atayal Resort is also adding extra perks, with holiday discounts available and free admission for those born in the Year of the Pig during the Children’s Day holiday period.

Li Jitian, General Manager of the Atayal Resort, said that in response to the government’s spring trip subsidies, the resort is offering an 20% discount on accommodation for independent travelers from April to June. By joining the official Atayal LINE account, guests can also receive an additional NT$500 accommodation subsidy, which can be combined with the Tourism Bureau’s spring trip subsidy and applies to both weekdays and holidays, including the Children’s Day holiday period.

During the Children’s Day holiday period from April 4 to 7, the Atayal Resort is offering discounted admission, with park entry and camping available for just NT$199. Those born in the Year of the Pig can enter for free. The resort offers hot springs, forest bathing, an exciting skywalk, and the Atayal Cultural Museum. There is also a camping and barbecue area that can accommodate over 1,000 people and more than 100 RVs, with complete barbecue facilities—perfect for family trips and nature lovers who enjoy stargazing.
