Dreamy European-style Afternoon Tea: A Colorful Assortment of Pudding Parfaits and Matcha Tiramisu Layer Cake

The area near Zhongshan MRT Station is bustling with eateries, especially cafés. After a tiring stroll through the department stores, you’ll find many stylish and charming shops tucked away in the alleys. Among them is Dream Sweet Café (夢甜屋Café), whose lightly classic space is both inviting and cozy, and the desserts are simply delightful—making it a perfect spot for conversation and afternoon tea.

There are at least a dozen cafés crammed into the alleys behind the MRT station—what a high concentration of coffee spots!

From the outside, Dream Sweet Café (夢甜屋Café) makes a great first impression: white window grids and a bright interior give the feeling that just sitting here will lift your mood.

There’s ample outdoor seating right outside the door, offering a casual vibe as if you’re enjoying a European-style leisure moment—truly romantic!

The décor is dominated by white, creating an overall comfortable feel with a lightly classic space that’s both romantic and elegant.

In addition to the chandeliers on the ceiling, the sofas are also chosen in classic styles, giving the place a strong sense of cohesion and comfort. Especially among cafés in this area, such spatial design is rare—most pack seats tightly, but here, plenty of space is left for customers. It offers a peaceful retreat in the busy, crowded city.

Sitting by the window feels bright and airy. If we were to bring a book and relax here, this would definitely be our choice. When tired, you can just look out the window.

The second floor is also spacious and comfortable, and of course, the design style is consistent with the first floor.

It’s currently matcha season, and the shop has introduced a variety of matcha desserts!!

We ordered a caramel latte, topped with a layer of fresh cream!!

The Capriccino (卡帕尼尼) may look simple, but it’s actually a combination of four different flavors.

Stir-fried bacon and potatoes: the fluffy potatoes carry the aroma of stir-fried bacon—simple yet delicious.

The two small round Capriccini are refreshing and tasty, with excellent flavor—one is avocado-flavored, the other is cheese and ham.

The side salad with fruit yogurt dressing is also light and refreshing, perfect as a summer light meal.

Our drink was Earl Grey tea—the jewel-toned tea has a rich bergamot aroma. Ah~~ this is our absolute favorite!

Pudding Parfait

This dessert looks incredibly festive, almost like a beautiful rainbow of colors—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple. Aside from the vibrant and cheerful colors, the textures are also varied, making every bite a delight for both the taste buds and the heart.

Black Honey Matcha Tiramisu Layer Cake

As the name suggests, this dessert combines red beans, layered rings, and matcha~~. Such a combo is almost too pretty to eat—but each component is amazing on its own. The slightly bitter, mellow taste of matcha lingers long after each bite, and when paired with the sweet black sugar syrup, the flavor is simply incomparably beautiful!

Of course, take a sip of tea, then a bite of dessert—that’s the ultimate afternoon tea satisfaction!!
