Taipei Frozen Adventure Carnival
The "Frozen Adventure Carnival," held at Taipei 101’s Water Dance Plaza from November 30, 2017, to January 14, 2018, features six ice-themed highlights and ten heartwarming experiences. Fans can join Elsa and Olaf on an icy adventure.
Inspired by the latest Frozen animated short "Olaf’s Frozen Adventure," the carnival is designed around scenes from the movie, featuring six ice-themed zones: the Ice Forest, the Kingdom of Arendelle, the Ice Service Center, the Crystal Magic Christmas Tree, and the Ice Skating Rink. Among them, a 12-meter-tall Christmas tree will stand in the center of the plaza, with translucent crystal-like leaves and a dazzling light show creating the most romantic holiday atmosphere.

Beitou Hot Spring Christmas Tree
A 10-meter-tall Christmas tree has appeared next to Beitou MRT Station! In conjunction with the second Taipei Life Festival – Christmas Celebration, it’s themed around local hot springs, combining Bear “Xiong Zan” soaking in a hot spring with a blue-and-white Christmas tree, giving it a unique charm. Although snowfall and light shows only happen on the hour during November 25 and 26, the Christmas tree will be on display until December 31. Travelers coming for a hot spring experience shouldn’t miss taking photos with the tree on Xingxing Street!

Miramar Ferris Wheel Bear Christmas Town
To celebrate Christmas, Miramar this year is going all out with a bear theme, creating Taiwan’s only Bear Christmas Village. The exclusively designed 12-meter-tall bear-shaped Christmas tree, surrounded by Santa Claus and bears, adds an extra dose of cute festive happiness.

New Taipei City Christmas Town
Taiwan’s grandest "New Taipei City Christmas Town" officially opened on Friday, November 24. This year, the 360-degree 3D projection mapping on the Christmas tree and the City Hall building has been upgraded. It also debuts smart mobile projection mapping at Banqiao Station, along with a circus-themed container market and fun rides making a glamorous debut!

Taoyuan Huatai Flagship Mall
This year’s Christmas Village at Taoyuan Huatai Flagship Mall is themed around GLORIDAY. A massive 15-meter-tall peach-colored Christmas tree is tied with a big red bow, surrounded by strings of lights that illuminate the entire village. Next to it is an adorable pink gingerbread house, making it a perfect photo spot for girls. In the evening, the mall will periodically release artificial snow, creating a foreign-like, super romantic ambiance.

Hsinchu Big City Far Eastern Mega Mall
The annual Christmas decorations at Mega Mall are always a major highlight in Hsinchu. This year’s festive setup creates a romantic snowy wonderland, featuring a massive 15-meter Christmas tree decorated with snowflakes, as well as a gingerbread house that feels like stepping into a fairy tale—overflowing with Christmas spirit. In addition, this year’s mall mascot, A-Mall, joins the holiday scenery. During the event period, the “real” mascot will make appearances, interact closely with the public, and hand out gifts, attracting kids and girls to take photos.

Changhua County Government Plaza
Changhua also has a beautiful Christmas tree, located right at the county government plaza. This year’s main Christmas tree stands 10 meters tall, 2 meters higher than last year, glowing with white and blue lights at night. In addition to being lit on November 26, there will also be a “Light Up Changhua” event at 19:30 on December 3 at Changhua Railway Station, and a Christmas street parade and caroling event on December 22.

Tainan Musical Light Sculpture Christmas Tree
The Tainan City Government has installed Christmas lights at key locations including the Taiwan Literature Museum, Xinying Cultural Center, Zaham Park, Xinying Railway Station Plaza, Zhengxing District, and Xinmei District. The Taiwan Literature Museum features a 15-meter light sculpture Christmas tree that actually sings Christmas songs and showcases various animated light displays. The Christmas tree in front of the Xinying Cultural Center combines traditional bamboo weaving craftsmanship with modern design, enhanced with dynamic lighting rhythms.

Kaohsiung Dream Mall
Kaohsiung Dream Mall is brimming with Christmas cheer, setting the Sharing City theme as fashionable New York. The square features a miniature Statue of Liberty, a dazzling Brooklyn Bridge, and scaled-down city streetscapes that transport you to New York in an instant.
This year’s Purple Wish Christmas main tree stands 12 meters tall, breaking from traditional designs. Inspired by New York skyscrapers, it incorporates tens of thousands of LED lights and animation technology to create a stylish light show. It was officially lit on the evening of the 17th. Nearby, you can also snap photos with the New York Big Apple Garden and a giant red high-heel. The Christmas celebration lasts for 39 days, and on Christmas Eve, December 24, it will even snow. If you want to soak up the festive Christmas vibe this year, this is a must-visit spot.
