Taiwan’s most patriotic Ferris wheel is in Taichung — a national flag light show every 10 seconds

Tomorrow marks the annual Double Ten National Day. If you’ve had enough of seeing the blue sky, white sun, and red earth flag fluttering, now you can also check out the “largest national flag ferris wheel in Taiwan” at Lihpao Land in Taichung. From now until the 10th, the ferris wheel will be lit up every evening from 5:30 PM to midnight, with a light show every 10 seconds—earning it the title of Taiwan’s most patriotic ferris wheel.

The Lihpao Sky Dream Ferris Wheel, with a diameter of 120 meters, is the largest in Taiwan. Since its trial operation in May, it has become a new landmark in Taichung. To celebrate National Day, Lihpao Land specially illuminated the

Lihpao Land is also offering a double promotion. Until the 10th, the 4-person Ferris wheel ticket is available at a special price of NT$1,010, and comes with a free camping lamp.Travelers who enter the park before 12:00 noon on the 10th also get a special offer of a twin-park ticket for NT$1,010 for two people, plus a bonus National Day tri-color ice cream.
