World’s Coolest Job Alert: Star Cruises Recruiting Travel Storytellers for a Free 48-Day Journey Across the Southern Hemisphere

To give travelers the chance to experience diverse cultures and unique highlights, Star Cruises’ SuperStar Virgo is launching an exciting new 48-day exploration of the Southern Hemisphere. In collaboration with National Geographic, they’re holding a storyteller search — if you love photography, have strong writing skills, and are passionate about sharing your journey, you could be selected to join this free 48-day trip across the Southern Hemisphere.

To offer travelers more diverse options, in addition to the “8-Country Southern Hemisphere Tour – 48-Day Dream Voyage” on SuperStar Virgo, Star Cruises has also planned a “40-Day Elegant Leisure Trip Around 8 Southern Hemisphere Countries” and a “19-Day Deep Dive Australia – 10 Cities Tour,” allowing travelers to deeply explore each city. Orders placed before August 31 for the “48-Day Dream Voyage” are eligible for early bird pricing or business class upgrades.

This is the first time Star Cruises has partnered with National Geographic to host the 【SuperStar Virgo 48-Day Dream Voyage Travel Storyteller Search】, selecting talented travel storytellers who excel in photography and writing, possess creative thinking and strong execution abilities, and have a deep passion for cruise travel. You could win the chance to join a cruise tour worth over one million dollars — the “SuperStar Virgo 48-Day Dream Voyage” — enjoying the romance of cruising around the Southern Hemisphere while also sharing your photography and travel stories on the official National Geographic website.

The activity will take place in two stages: participants can submit their entries online from July 1–August 15, sharing Southern Hemisphere photography plans. The public will vote online along with a selection by the organizers to choose 6 finalists. In the finals, participants will showcase their creativity — all methods are welcome to demonstrate individuality and expertise. The final winners are expected to be announced on August 31.

Submission Period: July 1–August 15
How to Submit: Visit the event website to fill in personal details, upload one personal photography work along with the story behind the photo, and describe the themes and ideas you would pursue if given the opportunity to travel around the Southern Hemisphere.
Selection Process: Divided into two stages
— Stage 1: 30% determined by public online voting, 70% by organizer review. A total of 6 finalists will be selected.
— Stage 2: The 6 finalists will present their ideas creatively in person to judges. The most suitable 2 candidates will be chosen as the Star Cruises X National Geographic Southern Hemisphere Travel Storytellers.
Responsibilities of the Southern Hemisphere Travel Storyteller: Free travel aboard SuperStar Virgo from November 13 to December 31 for the Southern Hemisphere voyage. During the trip, execute the planned photography and travel sharing projects, with resulting content to be uploaded to the National Geographic official website.
