Last time, I introduced the “Jimbaran Forest Hotel”, and for the next two days, we headed to the even more luxurious “AYANA Resort and Spa”. This time, I visited \for three days. The first two nights were spent at the Jimbaran Hotel, and the following two days were spent in a private VILLA at AYANA. Speaking of VILLAs, the most special thing is their layout design. In addition to the exclusive, spacious space and facilities, you also get your own private pool, a relaxation pavilion, and an endless view of the azure sea. AYANA Resort spans a vast area, with three hotels within it that are distinct but share facilities and restaurants. Unlike Rimba, which emphasizes a forest setting, AYANA Resort and Spa boasts several beautiful chapels and uniquely designed pools, highlighting an “infinity” concept. The shore is adorned with statues, offering \a distinctive local flavor.

In addition to the scenic pools, AYANA Resort and Spa also offers top-tier spa services, including 12 heated seawater hydro-massage stations, 60 individual treatment jets, as well as designs for microbubbles and geysers. Moreover, you can enjoy activities such as golf, yoga, and sunrise jogs, allowing you to relax while staying fit. For spa treatments, AYANA offers a full area of French-inspired ocean spas, with a variety of SPA programs to choose from. Spending time there not only helps relax your muscles but also allows for complete physical and mental rejuvenation, temporarily forgetting the stresses and distractions of city life.

AYANA Resort and Spa provides a variety of SPA treatments. I chose the “Anaya Fusion,” which is a herbal therapy using freshly made herbal pouches blended from three types of medicinal pastes, maximizing the therapeutic and restorative effects of the herbs. During the process, the therapist first applies warm herbs to the body and uses coarse salt to massage the calves for relaxation. Then, essential oils are added, and the therapist gently taps the body in a steady, deep manner, bringing you to the ultimate state of relaxation.

AYANA Resort offers wedding venues in various styles, including a glass chapel with a clean, modern aesthetic, or the “SKY venue” perched on a cliff with a 180º panoramic sunset and ocean view, allowing you to take in the beauty of the Indian Ocean. If you have any special requests or want to experience \the unique atmosphere here, the staff will gladly accommodate your needs.

If you don’t like crowded pools, you can also try the resort’s most “private” beach, Kubu Beach, but getting there requires climbing 197 stone steps. As a reward for your effort, aside from enjoying the waves, you can take in the breathtaking seascape and enjoy complete tranquility and privacy. Lastly, Kubu Beach also offers food and beverage services, including refreshing coconut water and uniquely flavored beach picnics.

Finally, there’s the world-famous Rock Bar, arguably the most iconic attraction at AYANA Resort. It opens in the evening, allowing you to watch the Jimbaran sunset, and at night, it transforms into a music bar serving soft drinks, cocktails, and delicious food. The atmosphere is dreamy and laid-back, and it even has a dedicated elevator, making it a must-visit spot for many traveling to \this destination.
