The French Fries Family makes a surprise pop-up appearance at Hong Kong Disneyland – the Ice World is waiting to cool you down!

Summer vacation has always been a great time for parents to accompany their children and create happy childhood memories. In early May, the Gary Chaw family was invited to Hong Kong Disneyland for a three-day, two-night trip filled with unforgettable moments. The popular French Fries Family hopes to share this happiness with more families and secretly collaborated with Hong Kong Disneyland to plan a surprise recording studio pop-up event for the selected families of the ETTODAY “Happy Family Moments – Joyful Photo & Text Sharing” campaign. Gary, Grace, and Joe decided to write happy memories together with the selected families through song.

The French Fries Family, who served as guests at Hong Kong Disneyland this time, were extremely excited. Upon arrival, they were very curious about everything in the recording studio, touching and exploring everything around. When the lucky selected families entered the recording room to start recording officially, the sound engineer began teaching them the song. Grace couldn’t help but make a sound, leaving the selected families in the recording room puzzled. Gary quickly covered Grace’s mouth to prevent the surprise from being spoiled!

Joe showed off his singing skills in the sound control room, personally demonstrating and guiding the selected families. His naturally gifted voice fully inherited his father Gary’s musical talent. Music-loving Grace also seized the opportunity to show her skills and performed a segment herself, but not being very familiar with the song, Grace eventually forgot the lyrics and was caught on the spot by the selected families opposite, making everyone burst into laughter.

Gary revealed,Grace and Joe, just like other kids, love to sing, and every scene in life is their stage. The family often hums and sings together. Joe is the conductor, correcting our pitch; Grace is the dynamic singer, dancing to the rhythm with great energy; I’m the kids’ big toy, playing multiple roles — sometimes harmonizing, sometimes keeping the beat, always supporting my kids.

After the selected families successfully finished singing, someone in the recording room asked, “Do you know which happy family Hong Kong Disneyland has invited this time?” Immediately, the curtain in the recording room was pulled back! Gary, along with Grace and Joe, shouted in unison, “Surprise!” The selected families were overjoyed and waved excitedly toward the sound control room. Grace and Joe specially brought super-sized Mickey and Minnie dolls purchased at Hong Kong Disneyland to give to the selected families in the recording room. They asked in surprise, “Was that your voice just now? So amazing!” In the end, the selected families also sang together with the Gary Chaw family, leaving behind happy voices and creating unforgettable memories, bringing the surprise pop-up event to a perfect close.
