Welcome Summer with New Dishes on the Menu: Three Taipei and Taichung Hotels Offer Special Promotions

To welcome the arrival of summer, restaurants are rolling out new menus paired with a variety of promotions. GUSTOSO at Taipei’s Hotel MI offers fruit-inspired dishes and an all-you-can-eat afternoon salad bar; three restaurants inside Taichung’s How Asia Hotel are offering drink discounts and free afternoon tea vouchers; and The Silk Road Banquet at The Regent Taipei is promoting its new wild jungle animal-themed dishes by giving away tickets to Leofoo Village Theme Park.

GUSTOSO Restaurant
From July to the end of September, GUSTOSO specially selects seasonal seafood and incorporates locally grown fruits in abundance during summer. The sweet and refreshing flavors of the fruits skillfully cut through the richness, bringing a unique and refreshing summer dining experience. The "Cool Summer" lunch salad bar is available from NT$780+10% per person; the Italian seafood fusion "Italian Fruit Flair" evening fruit set menu is NT$1,280+10% per person.

In August, three “Summer Fruit Cocktails” are featured, each priced at NT$400+10%. Savor the fruity aromas of watermelon, grape, and kiwi cocktails to cool off in this intoxicating season.
 

Taichung How Asia Hotel
From July 1 to August 31, the new summer menu makes a vibrant debut. This season, chefs from the hotel’s various restaurants showcase their culinary skills using fresh seasonal ingredients from the sea and mountains, designing a series of East-meets-West dishes along with special promotions.

The lunch and dinner buffet is NT$880+10% per person. From Monday to Friday lunch hours, when four guests dine together and enjoy the new summer menu, they will receive a buy-one-get-one-free weekend afternoon tea voucher for two (each valued at NT$1,100+10%).

The new series of light meals starts at NT$220+10% per dish. Additionally, there's the “9 PM Easy Picks” promotion: order any 2 cocktails before 9:00 PM for just NT$680+10% (originally NT$880+10%), or the “Refreshing Pairings” deal: choose any 3 light meals from Lounge ONE plus 2 pairing drinks for only NT$1,100+10% (originally NT$1,660+10% / light meals valued under NT$320).
