Enjoy panoramic views through the large glass windows! Rest chairs installed at Dahu Park MRT Station

Located next to the scenic Dahu Park, which is nestled between mountains and water, Dahu Park MRT Station in Taipei’s Neihu District features floor-to-ceiling windows on its second floor that offer direct views of the park. These windows attract many local residents and travelers who pause to admire the scenery. To enhance the experience, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation has specially installed six “rest chairs” in front of the windows, allowing passersby to comfortably enjoy the view of the greenery and lake.

The six rest chairs are located on the second-floor lobby near Exit 2 of Dahu Park Station, providing a space for people to take a break. Sitting is allowed, but lying down is prohibited. From here, you can admire the beautiful lakeside and mountain scenery. For those wanting a closer experience, you can head straight down to explore attractions such as the famous Ribbon Bridge and Zigzag Bridge. In addition, the Taipei City Government renovated the park’s facilities last year, including lawn areas, fishing zones, planted gardens, pathways, and pavilions, allowing visitors to fully enjoy a rare slice of nature within the city.

Additionally, there are two gentle hiking trails suitable for all ages, located on Bailuzi Mountain and Kangle Mountain. These are popular spots for locals in Neihu to exercise and relax, and the summit of Kangle Mountain offers an excellent vantage point to enjoy the views of Dahu Park.
