Free admission for birthday celebrants on July 27th!/Summer promotions at 22 theme parks across Taiwan announced

The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications and theme park operators nationwide have launched a variety of cool activities, including enjoying forest phytoncides, experiencing refreshing water sensations at water parks, and riding thrilling amusement rides—all available at theme parks across Taiwan to help everyone beat the summer heat.

This year, the 22 theme parks across Taiwan offer a range of cooling summer packages, such as Leofoo Village’s “Cool Summer Water Fun,” Yun Hsien Resort’s “Summer Romance,” Yehliu Ocean World’s “Dolphins & Ballet Aquatic Dance,” Little World Theme Park’s “Wave Rider Water Park,” and Leofoo Village Theme Park’s “Land & Water Dual Enjoyment.” Many operators have also introduced special offers—for example, visitors who bring a bowl or are named Wanjun can enjoy discounted admission to Wonderland on Mondays, known as “Wanjun Day.” Meanwhile, thoseborn on July 27th, like those at Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, can enjoy free admission with advance booking.Additionally, Little World’s Land & Water Dual Park tickets are discounted to just NT$399, making family trips more affordable.

The Tourism Bureau also noted that in the “Taiwan’s Best Theme Parks” online poll, Leofoo Village Theme Park took first place, with E-DA World, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, Leofoo Village Theme Park, Lihpao Land, Little World Theme Park, Yamay Resort, Taiya Nanshan Resort, Wildwood Zoo, and Wonderland ranking in the top ten. This year, in addition to promoting theme park tourism through a new theme song “Love the Fun” and spokespeople Axi and JR, the bureau plans to create a dedicated website to help travelers explore Taiwan’s theme parks. Top Taiwanese Theme Parks  2015 Summer Marketing Promotions by the Leisure & Tourism Industry

Wonderland
A. Afternoon Ticket Promotion: From June and September, admission after 1 PM costs just NT$450.
B. Exam-Taker Promotion: Until September 30, present your (2015) exam admission ticket for a special rate of NT$550.
C. After 5 PM Admission in July & August: Enjoy a “Starlight Discount” for just NT$450.

Leofoo Village Theme Park
A. Summer vacation special (June 13 – September 13): Enjoy both land and water attractions all day and night for just NT$799.
B. Summer vacation special (June 13 – September 13): Twilight entry ticket for both land and water areas for NT$699 (entry after 1:00 PM only).
C. Public transport discounts:
(1) Hsinchu Bus: From June 13 to September 13, show your direct Hsinchu Bus ticket to Leofoo Village to purchase the combined land and water park ticket for just NT$750 (one bus ticket stub allows one discounted admission, valid for use on the day of travel only).
(2) U-Bus: From June 13 to September 13, enjoy the discount package for NT$950 (includes round-trip bus fare and one Leofoo land and water park ticket).

Doraemon Science Theme Park
Adult tickets discounted to NT$350, student and child tickets to NT$320, senior and handicapped tickets to NT$250, available from July 1 to August 31.

Wanrui Forest Amusement Park
A. Wanrui Summer Camp (2 days 1 night) includes: Wanrui grass sledding, scout activities, evening parties, rock climbing, wire walking, forest paintball, foot soccer, and summer water play.
B. Public transport discount: Free shuttle bus from Hengshan Station on the TRA Neiwan Line to Wanrui.

West Lake Resort
A. “Green Youth Visit West Lake”: From July 1 to August 31, all bottled drinks in the park are 20% off (valid at Forest Kiosk, Mermaid Restaurant, and Lakeside Café).
B. Show your student ID to purchase a discounted admission ticket for NT$250 (not valid for groups, travel agencies, or tour buses). Enjoy the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale theme park, watch the Happy Theater show, experience environmental education activities, and visit Sanyi to appreciate its cultural and artistic charm.
C. Public transport discount: In partnership with Fengyuan Bus, you can take a direct Fengyuan Bus from Taipei or Fengyuan to West Lake Resort.
(1) Present your bus ticket stub to buy an admission ticket for just NT$300 each.
(2) Present your same-day bus ticket stub when checking in to stay overnight, and the bus fare will be deducted from your accommodation fee according to room rate and occupancy for that day.
(3) Purchase a return bus ticket to Taipei at the West Lake Resort counter for a discounted price of NT$220–270, with fares based on Fengyuan Bus published schedules.

Shangri-La Amusement Park
During the summer vacation (July 1 – August 31), get one card and three people enter free. Each card is NT$2,599. The cardholder enjoys unlimited free admission. Also included are three unlimited-use free admission cards (valid from card issue date until December 31, 2015), one four-person weekday accommodation voucher, four breakfast vouchers for your stay, plus a DIY Lei Cha (pounded tea) experience for four people during your stay.

Lihpao Land
A. June 22 – July 22: Cancer zodiac visitors get 50% off for NT$325.
B. July 23 – August 22: Leo zodiac visitors get 50% off for NT$325.

8 Great Forest Park
From July 1 to September 30, the Forest King – Soak the Explosive Water Forest event is held, with additional discounts of 100–199 NTD for Pingtung residents, Kaohsiung residents, couples, families, and those born in the Year of the Rabbit on selected dates.
