Taipei Children's Arts Festival kicks off with 100 free drama and music performances

The 2015 Taipei Children's Arts Festival runs from July 1 to August 9, featuring eight musical and dance shows adapted from fairy tales, such as *The Snow Prince*, and over 100 free performances that unfold one after another, guiding children into the world of art.

For the free performances, seven large-scale outdoor shows will be held from July 3 to 19, along with 74 free community performances across all districts from now until August 8, transforming district offices into neighborhood theaters. International teams from Belgium and France will also bring seven humorous street performances. The Peipailiao Historical Block will specially gather nine award-winning films from recent international children's film festivals, hosting a free installation exhibition and animation film festival from July 7 to August 9.
