The Zhongliao Skywalk Opens for Trial Operation – A Breathtaking View Over a 50-Meter-Deep Valley

Vice President of the Legislative Yuan Hung Hsiu-chu, accompanied by County Magistrate Lin Ming-tseng, legislators Hsu Shu-hua and Ma Wen-chun, as well as Zhongliao Township Chief Chang Yong-hui, visited the skywalk on the first day of its trial to enjoy the scenery. The trial operation will continue until the 19th, with the official public opening scheduled for the 22nd.

The Dragon-Phoenix Waterfall Skywalk is located about 5 meters above the source of the Dragon-Phoenix Waterfall. It is designed with inspiration from the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the United States. The skywalk is 30 meters long and extends approximately 13 meters over the waterfall. The entire bridge features a transparent, non-suspended U-shaped transparent walkway design. Standing at the outer edge of the walkway allows you to look down into a 50-meter-deep valley.

Entry to the skywalk is available either via online reservation or on-site queuing, with a daily quota system in place. During the trial operation from the 6th to the 19th, the daily visitor limit is 500 people (400 online reservations and 100 on-site). Discounted tickets during the trial period are priced at NT$70.
