Don’t let the summer in the North Coast be boring — New Taipei’s “Fulong Sand Sculpture Festival” extended to August

The originally scheduled “Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Festival,” set to end on the 12th, has now been extended until the end of August. The Northeast and Yilan National Scenic Area Administration has decided to prolong the Fulong Sand Sculpture Festival through the end of August. Additionally, during the extended exhibition period, 10% of ticket sales will be donated to help those injured in the Formosa Fun Coast Dust Explosion incident.

The Northeast and Yilan National Scenic Area Administration stated that, in addition to extending the sand sculpture festival and donating proceeds, a brand-new thematic sand sculpture titled “Prayer for Blessings” will be unveiled from the 13th through the end of August to pray for the recovery of those injured in the Formosa Fun Coast Dust Explosion.
