Japan’s first outlet in the Hokuriku Toyama region opened on July 16th. Outlets operated by Mitsui Fudosan Group have always been popular among travelers and are a favorite weekend shopping destination for locals. In addition to numerous brand discount stores, Mitsui Outlets feature distinctive mall centers offering everything from fashion, food, daily necessities to entertainment facilities. The newly opened “Mitsui Outlet Hokuriku Oyabe” boasts a giant ferris wheel as its centerpiece.

Officially opened on July 16th, Mitsui Outlet Hokuriku Oyabe is the first branch in the Hokuriku region, covering an area of 120,000 square meters with approximately 173 stores and brands. It primarily targets family and child-friendly visitors. From the ferris wheel, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Toyama landscape. The complex also includes indoor and outdoor children’s play zones. Popular nearby tourist destinations such as Kanazawa Kenroku-en Garden, Kaga Onsen hot spring villages, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, and Shirakawa-go are all just about a one-hour drive away, making the location highly convenient.

To accommodate more international visitors, Mitsui Fudosan Group states that the outlet provides services in four languages, multilingual staff, and free Wi-Fi throughout the facility. Forty-four shops offer tax-free shopping, and there is also a currency exchange counter and prayer room, all specially designed for foreign guests.
